- Coach Oster as been the Head Varsity Coach for the last two seasons at HHS.
- In his first year as Head Coach (2006), Coach O helped the team win more regular season games, score more
goals, and allow fewer goals than any Hamilton team in the last ten years. (According to many parents who have been with the program).
- Coach Oster also served as the Assistant Varsity and Head Junior Varsity coach during the 2004 and 2005
seasons at HHS.
- Coach Oster is also a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and the Ohio Scholastic
Soccer Coaches Association
- Coach O played on scholarship for 3 years (1997-1999) at Malone College, a NAJA Division 1 College.
- Coach Oster also received honors at Malone including being a two time Academic-All American, an All AMC
Scholar Athlete, being named the most improved player for the 1998 season, and being a three year letter
winner (two seasons as a starter and one spent plagued with injuries).
- Coach Oster spent his first year in College playing at an NCAA Division III Soccer School, Rochester
Institute of Technology. As a freshman at RIT, Coach O had significant playing time and started one game,
helping the team win the Upstate New York Soccer Championship.
- Coach O played High School soccer at Berea High School (Cleveland area); while there he was selected to an
All Pioneer Conference team, was a Pioneer Conference Scholar Athlete, USMC Outstanding Male Athlete, a three
year varsity letter winner, two time Honorable Mention All Greater Cleveland Defender, Team Captain, and was an
Ohio High School Scholar Athlete.
- Coach Oster was also the captain and two time MVP for the Berea High Men's Volleyball team.
- During his high school years, Coach O was also selected to be a guest player on a team that traveled to Sweden
to play in the world's largest international youth soccer tournament.
- After graduating from college, Coach O played for, and captained a team in the Cincinnati Amateur Soccer League
before beginning his coaching career.
- Coach Oster is the supervisor in the Appellate Division of Butler County Prosecutor Robin Piper’s Office. He has
argued multiple case in front of the Supreme Court of Ohio, including a capital murder case.
